REVO!
Next week, I’ll be making REVO cake pops. REVO is a fundraising for Cambodian student scholarships, held at La Sierra University (the college I used to attend).
Last month, some La Sierra students and I went to Cambodia for a mission trip. I was so touched by these cutie pies, I want to help out! These students live in the dumps of Cambodia’s capitol, Phnom Penh, yet they are always so happy and eager to learn. It was hard saying our good byes, but I’m ready to rock and roll for REVO!
There will be lots of food, a fashion show, art show/auction, and AJ Rafael ;) I’m excited, can’t wait to be out of this WA weather and back in SoCal again. And for the first time ever, I’ll be selling my cake pops! Woohooooo :D
Herro dumplings!
My sister and I made these cutie xiao long bao’s (juicy pork dumplings) on a stick :) I work at a restaurant that is famous for these small, tasty delicacies so I decided to make their signature XLB…cake pop style!
First of all, I shaped the cake balls into dumplings (round shape with a small ‘kiss’ on top) before dipping into candy melts. I tried putting an actual Hershey’s kiss on top but they turned out horriblyy too tall.
Outer: White candy melts
Inner: White cake with raspberry jam
Face: Black Americolor edible marker
I brought them to work with my baby chicks for Easter. I kinda want to make them again, they were super easy and fun :)
Happy belated Easter!
I made white cake + raspberry jam cake pops for my coworkers who worked on Easter. They tasted like white cake with a faint berry tart flavor. Unfortunately, I only made about 28 and that is definitely not enough for a large restaurant staff :( But it was fun to make (and it’s super easy) and I loved seeing people ooo and ahhhh over these cute chicks :)
Outer: Yellow candy melts
Inner: White cake with raspberry jam
Beak & wings: Colorful mini choco chip sprinkles (Wilton)
Eyes: Edible black marker
Feet: Mini m&m’s or pastel colored flowers or heart shaped sprinkles
Happy 23rd birthday to one of my besties, Princess Vilet :)
I made these cake pops with a tonn of Wilton pink sprinkles for the cake balls. As for the hello kitties, they were super easy to make:
Cake pop: Chocolate Nutella
Ears: White chocolate chips (Ghirardelli)
Bow: Upside-down mini red m&m + 2 heart sprinkles (Ordered online)
Nose: Chocolate chip sprinkles, they come in a bottle of multiple colors
Eyes/Whiskers: Edible marker
They were a hit! I might be starting a new cake pop business soon. The bartender at the restaurant we went to wants me to start making them for her bar. Wish me luck :)
Finally got my cake pop book in! HURRAYYY.
March will officially be my cake-pop-month. My coworkers are gonna love me (more than they already do, if thats possible) :D
i know its not christmas, but its still winter! and i had to share these cake pops since they are fcking AMAZING. made by my bestie, laurianne. her + mom + lil sister team took about 6+ hours on these little lollicakes of delight :)
oh christmas. i want it to happen again
Made these lemon cupcakes with cream cheese frosting this winter. They were a tasty treat for the holiday season!
Everything made from scratch, minus the edible stars. That would be intense if I could make stars .__.
Today, I went to Cupcake Royale in downtown Bellevue. They have the tastiest cupcakes in WA (my favorite cupcake place is Sprinkles, but they don’t have that here. So sad.)
Red velvet cupcakes: Does a booty good! :)
Happy Sweet 16 Macy!
How cute are these? These sweet and adorable bow cupcakes were made for my best friend’s little sister’s (got that?) birthday. Props to my old high school friend, Kristi, for making them so perfectly!
I wish I ate the whole tier of cuppycakes. They were yummier than they look!
